A graveside service will be held on Monday at 2:30 PM in Pinewood Memorial Park with her Pastor, Rev. Walter Taylor, officiating. Clara was born and raised in Pitt County. She married the love of her life, Mr. Vernon Manning, in 1940 and they were together for 47 years before his passing in 1987. She was also the last surviving sibling of several brothers and sisters.
