Description	:	Clara Dupraz was born on August 31, 1909 in Little Rock, IA the daughter of Eilert and Jessie (Reiter) Lutterman. She died on Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at the United Retirement Center in Brookings at the age of 94 years. Clara came to the White, SD area with her parents at the age of five years. Read More	Clara Dupraz was born on August 31, 1909 in Little Rock, IA the daughter of Eilert and Jessie (Reiter) Lutterman. She died on Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at the United Retirement Center in Brookings at the age of 94 years. Clara came to the White, SD area with her parents at the age of five years. She received her education in Afton Township #12 and was a graduate of the White High School in 1928. She continued her education at Eastern State Normal in Madison, SD and Spearfish College at Spearfish, SD earning a teachers degree and teaching in Brookings County schools for 12 years. She was united in marriage to Edward Dupraz on June 7, 1938 in White, SD. After their marriage they farmed until Edwards death on October 16, 1977. Clara moved to Brookings later that same year. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Brookings where she also served on Education Board, church circle and taught Sunday School for many years. She was also a member of the Wild Rose Extension Club and the Birthday Club. Clara is survived by two daughters Roberta Wagner (Phillip), LaVonne Kurtz (David) all of Brookings, SD; two sons Richard Dupraz (Betty) of Yankton, SD, Charles Dupraz (Beverly) of Aurora, SD; ten grandchildren John, Mark and Steven Wagner, Daniel and Rebecca Kurtz, Scott, Timothy, Robert, Andrew and Emily Dupraz; two great grandchildren, Te'a and Andrew Wagner; one brother Merle Lutterman of Brookings, SD; four sisters Ella Lutterman of Minneapolis, MN, Irene Wagner (Emmett) of Green Bay, WI, Edline Haugen of Canton, SD and Lois Larson of St. Paul, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers David and Henry and one sister Alma.
