She suffered a heart attack the preceding afternoon. Funeral services were held at the Sacred Heart church, Monticello, at 9 a.m. Monday morning, October 21. Rev. Eugene Lorenz officiated and burial was made at the Sacred Heart cemetery. Mrs. McKeever was a daughter of Lester J. and Luella Martin of Hopkinton. Her maiden name was Clara Martin. Mrs. McKeever was a daughter of Lester J. and Luella Martin of Hopkinton. Her maiden name was Clara Martin. She was born April 3, 1901, and attended the Hopkinton public school. She was married to John McKeever Dec. 2, 1919. Their entire married life was spent in Monticello with the exception of one year when they lived in Anamosa. In addition to her husband, Mrs. McKeever is survived by the following children: Francis McKeever, ABM 3/c, who is serving in the United States navy at Philadelphia, Pa.; Marian, Mrs. William Bragg, Iowa City; Mary Jane and John Jr., who live at home. She is also survived by three sisters and six brothers: Mrs. Harvey Harford, Monticello; Mrs. Bernice Corley, Hammond, La.; Mrs. Naomi Miller, Cedar Rapids; Howard and Lawrence Martin, Marion; Thomas and Roy Martin, Iowa City; Eldridge Martin, Cedar Rapids and Ray Martin, Tacoma, Wash.
