Description	:	Thank you to Tami Burnett for the following obituary: From Sioux City Journal 11-29-1986 Clara Matilda Hall Ponca, Nebra- Clara Matilda Hall, 86, of Ponca, died Thurs in a Sioux City Hospital after a brief illness. Service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Salem Lutheran Church in Ponca with the Rev Nile Buch officiating. Burial will be in Silver Ridge Cemetery. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Sunday at Mohr Funeral Home. Mrs. Hall, the former Clara Matilda Salsness, was born July 10, 1900, in Sioux City. She married Melrose John Hall in October of 1934 in Sioux City. The couple farmed near Ponca for several years then moved to Allen where they farmed until retiring and moving into Ponca in 1984. Mr. Hall died Nov 15, 1986. (Their home, which they still owned, on their farm near Allen burned down around the same time of their deaths. They also had a small home in which they lived in their retirement in the town of Ponca) She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and Summerset Club of Waterbury. Survivors include on son, Clarence A. Brown, and two brothers, Art and Ralph Salsness, all of Sioux City. Five sisters Mrs. Blanch Molskow, Mrs Mable Crott, and Mrs Don (Bernice) Johndreau, all of Sioux City, and Mrs. Rayma Ahishouse and Mrs. Ruth Sparks, both of Omaha; three grandsons and three great-grand children.
