Description	:	Mrs. Ora Martindale passed away Monday afternoon following a period of two weeks in the hospital where she had been the subject of an appendix operation. The news of her death was received with sincere sorrow by many who had known her throughout a lifetime residence in Gering valley. The funeral service took place yesterday afternoon, being held at the Christian church, with a sermon by Galin Jordon, pastor. Clara Gering was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edson Gering, pioneer residents of Gering, now residing in Casper, and was born in this city on June 22, 1888. Her age at death was 43 years, 7 months, 15 days. She became the wife of Ora Martindale on Jan. 26, 1909. She is survived by her husband and by four sons and two daughters, who are: Gerald, Oklahoma; David, Oregon; Joy Ellen, Daniel and Glen at home. Four brothers and two sisters also survive her, who are Ralph Gering, Stanton, Michigan; Sidney Gering, Rawlins, Wyo.; Harry Gering and Mrs Dudley Lobdell, Casper; Charles Gering and Mrs. Reuben Lobdell, Gering. The bereft husband, parents and other relatives have the earnest condolences of a wide circle of friends who regret the untimely death of an excellent woman, wife and mother. Parents of the deceased, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gering, and her brothers Harry and Sidney, all of Casper, were here to attend the funeral service. ###
