Description	:	Relatives and friends were saddened by the unexpected death, on March 13, of Miss Clara Olive Dewar, at the Charlotte County Hospital. Born in St. George, on Oct. 30, 1890, she was the second of 12 children of the late H. Vaughan and Grace Carey (Sherrard) Dewar. With the exception of a year in West Upton, Mass., and six weeks in Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, she lived there all her life. Read More	Relatives and friends were saddened by the unexpected death, on March 13, of Miss Clara Olive Dewar, at the Charlotte County Hospital. Born in St. George, on Oct. 30, 1890, she was the second of 12 children of the late H. Vaughan and Grace Carey (Sherrard) Dewar. With the exception of a year in West Upton, Mass., and six weeks in Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, she lived there all her life. She was the oldest resident of the town, also the oldest member, 77 years, of the St. George United Baptist Church. Until three years ago she was an active, life member, of the Womans Missionary Society and the Ladies Guild of the church, quilting until after she was 90. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 40 and a member of the Granite Town Senior Citizens Club. She was predeceased by six brothers and two sisters. She is survived by three sisters-Mrs. Ada Scullin of Richmond Hill, New York; Mrs. Fred Wentworth of L?Etete and Mrs Edna Naylor of Pictou, N. S.; 14 nieces and nephews, a number of great and great great nieces and nephews and several cousins.
