Blair, daughter of John and Susan McIntyre and wife of Loren Blair, aged 19 years, 20 days. Her protracted illness was a continued period of love and patience. From the first, medical skill and loving hands seemed of no avail. She leaves a husband, a brother and many relatives to mourn her loss. Tears fall as they listen for a step that never comes and wait to hear a voice that is still. While in their home is a vacant chair that can never be filled. They mourn not as those without hope. Sunday afternoon at two o'clock words of comfort were spoken by Bro. Geo. Brown and the remains were laid to rest in the Cherokee cemetery. God lent thee for a few short years To cheer our lonely hearts; But, oh, how short the time has been Till we were called to part. Death forced thee from our happy band, Who can resist the claim?
