Mrs. Linn was born January 23, 1856, the daughter of George Osborn and Delia Crane Osborn. Linn Pittsfield, Sept. 3 – Mrs. Clarabelle O. Linn, 88, died Saturday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carrie Blanchard, 24 Park street. Mrs. Linn was born January 23, 1856, the daughter of George Osborn and Delia Crane Osborn. She was a resident of Hartland for the greater part of her life, coming to Pittsfield 15 years ago to make her home with her daughter. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Hartland. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Carrie Blanchard of Pittsfield; a granddaughter, Mrs. Meredith Ross; a great-granddaughter, Judith Ross, all of Pittsfield; and several cousins and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 o'clock from Shorey's funeral chapel. Rev. Josephine Folsom will officiate. Interment will be in Hartland. The bearers will be: Harry Cornforth, Lancy Milliken, George Moore and Frank Haseltine. Noted often in several documents throughout her life as "Clarabell" as well as her gravestone inscription. Listed in 1860 Census as Clara I. Osborne at 4yrs old with her mother Selina D. Osborne living in Dexter in the household of Isaiah K. Safford. In 1870 Census, following her mother's 1868 divorce, she was listed as Clarabelle Crane at 14yrs old with her mother Selina D.
