Description	:	C. B. TYER -- Clarence Burdette Tyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tyer, was born October 12, 1875, and passed away at his home January 8, 1952, at the age of 76 years. He was married to Josephine Flynn, Sept. 26, 1900 at Adel and lived his entire life in this vicinity. He was a member of the Minburn Methodist Church, where his final rites were held Friday afternoon. TYER -- Clarence Burdette Tyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tyer, was born October 12, 1875, and passed away at his home January 8, 1952, at the age of 76 years. He was married to Josephine Flynn, Sept. 26, 1900 at Adel and lived his entire life in this vicinity. He was a member of the Minburn Methodist Church, where his final rites were held Friday afternoon. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Austin of Dawson, and Boyd of Waukee, a daughter, Mylo Jo at home. Three grandchildren also survive, Robert of Waukee, Joanne and Jerry of Dawson. Also surviving are three great grandchildren, one brother, Ed Tyer, of Laverne, Minn., three sisters, Miss Edith Tyer of Boone, Mrs. Mabel Keating of Syracuse, N.Y., and Mrs. Myrtle Leach of Winterset. Rev. Paul Miller of the Panther Church and Rev. David Ash officiated at the services. Music was furnished by Mrs. Harold Hunter who sang "My Saviour, First of A", and "Beyond the Sunset". She was accompanied by Mrs. I. M. Shirley at the console of the organ. Casket bearers were all nephews of Mr. Tyer. They were Dr. Jack Burkett of Perry; Floyd Burkett of Minburn; Robert Flynn, Richard Flynn of Adel; Gilbert and Calvin Tyer of Winterset. Burial was at the Brethren Cemetery near Panther. Among out of town relatives and friends attending the last rites were Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Tyer, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Tyer, Mr. and Mrs. Owen DeMar, Mr. and Mrs. Simon Coffman and Vernon, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Coffman, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Leach, Mrs. Belle Tyer, and Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Tyer all of Winterset. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Peterson of Des Moines; Mrs. Ada Biddle, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Straddling of Adel; Mr. E. H. Tyer of Luverne, Minn.; Miss Edith Tyer of Boone; Mr. and Mrs. Lou Foster and son, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gilmer of Bouton; Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Tyer, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tyer of Waukee. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Tyer, Mrs. J. L. Summerson, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Summerson, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Inbody, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Alex, and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Stiles, all of Dawson; Mrs. Harry Stine, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Anderson, Mrs. Alice D. Harrison, Miss Ina Harrison, Mr. and Mrs. Lundy Todd, all of Perry; Mr. and Mrs. Merle Todd of Woodward, and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Flinn of DeSoto.
