Read More	Clarence Dupler, Jr., 89, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly early Friday morning, January 27, 2017, at his home. Born on April 24, 1927, in Lima, OH the son of Clarence and Pauline (Creps) Dupler, Sr.. He was a graduate of Lima Shawnee High School and the Central States School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Clarence was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served honorably during W.W. II. He had worked in the banking field for 35 years, in Lima, Fostoria, Salem and later in Sandusky, before retiring as Executive Vice-President at Bank Ohio. Clarence enjoyed visiting the family, golfing, fishing and, in days past, traveling with his wife. He was a member of the Huron United Methodist Church, the Huron Eagles and the Sandusky V.F.W. and a past member of the Lions Club, Rotary, Kiwanis and the Sandusky Elks. Clarence is survived three daughters, Rebecca Mizen of Mesa, AZ, Susan (Michael) Vickery of Huron and Monica (Edd) Pritchard of Akron; eight grandchildren, Scott, Leslee, Jennifer, Stephanie, Brandon, Brooke, Joseph and Rae Ann; 12 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Dupler of Sandusky. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 51 years, Colleen ( Lugibill) Dupler (1999); his son, Thomas Dupler; and a grandson, Ryan Gosser. At his request, no visitation will be held and cremation will take place. Private family services are to be held at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made in his memory to one's favorite charity. Arrangements are entrusted to the David F. Koch Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 520 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Your memories and words of comfort may be shared with Clarence's family at davidfkoch.com.
