Burial was at Minden Cemetery in Minden. *** Clarence was born May 27, 1923, in Minden, Neb., to Ernest and Anna (Albers) Sinsel. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Minden. He grew up north of Minden and went to school at District #25. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. On December 5, 1944, he married Mildred Jepsen, and to this union three boys were born, Ronald, Loren and Steve. They made their home north of Minden where Clarence pursued the joy of his life, farming and livestock. Mildred passed away in 2007. Clarence was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Minden and the LLL. He was a past member of the Co-op board and had been a 4-H leader. Clarence enjoyed his family, especially his grand- kids, being around the farm, playing cards, hunting and having coffee with his friends. Survivors include two sons, Ronald Sinsel and his wife Trudy of Minden, Neb., and Loren Sinsel and his wife Marilyn of Lexington, Neb.; five grandchildren, Michelle Roethemeyer, Brian Sinsel, Trisha Hurt, Colleen Steele and Brent Sinsel; 15 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Doris Nielsen of Minden, Neb. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mildred; one son, Steve; and one sister, Esther Larsen.
