Lunenburg, July 25- The death of Clarence Young, aged 41 years, youngest son of the late Mr.and Mrs. Israel Young, occurred at his home at Lunenburg yesterday following a protracted illness of an unusual form of epilepsy which baffled the best medical skill in attendance. Mr. Young, previous to his illness, was the valued foreman of the machine shop of the Lunenburg Foundry, of which his brother, D.E. Young, is managing director. Affiliated with fraternal organizations, as well as with Central United Church, where he was a member of the adult and male choirs, in Mr. Young's demise the town loses a highly respected citizen and one of its promising young men. He is survived by his widow; a son, Merrill; a daughter, Lillian; also a brother, D.E. Young; and a sister, Emily (Mrs. E.L. Baker), of Toronto. The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon from his late residence at Newtown. The Foundry staff, as well as the Masonic Order and Independent Order of Oddfellows, in which society he had high standing, attended the funeral in bodies. The rites of both societies were performed at the graveside. The pall-bearers were selected from the Canton Branch of the Order of Oddfellows, in which deceased took a deep interest. The pall-bearers were Arthur Risser, Judson Pyke, Harris Haughn, and Leslie Hall. Rev. H. Stanley Bland, his pastor, officiated at the service.
