Description	:	Clarence L. Gish Clarence L. Gish, 81, of 303 N. Juliette, died May 28 at the College Hill Nursing Home. He was born Feb. 2, 1907 in Abilene where had spent most of his life. In 1934, he received his B.S. from Kansas State University and his master's in 1939 from KSU. Mr. Gish worked in the poultry industry following graduation. Read More	Clarence L. Gish Clarence L. Gish, 81, of 303 N. Juliette, died May 28 at the College Hill Nursing Home. He was born Feb. 2, 1907 in Abilene where had spent most of his life. In 1934, he received his B.S. from Kansas State University and his master's in 1939 from KSU. Mr. Gish worked in the poultry industry following graduation. He had taught at K-State in 1948 and 1949, and Colorado A. and M. from 1949 to 1951. Mr. Gish was married to Faye Travis on Sept. 9, 1933 at Salina. He served in the USDA Poultry and Dairy Inspection Service in Kansas and Louisiana and worked in the egg production business near St. George before retiring in 1970. He was a member of the Blue Valley Memorial United Methodist Church, Manhattan Lions Club, KSU Alumni Association, Farmhouse Fraternity, AARP, RSVP, and the Riley County Seniors' Service Center. Survivors include his wife, Faye; a son, Donald L. of Georgetown, Texas; two daughters Kathleen Beatty of Tuscon, Ariz, and Linda Frazier of Irving, Texas, and nine grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Blue Valley Memorial United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Abilene Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the church or to the KSU Alumni Association left in care of the funeral home. Family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home.
