Read More	Grand Island (Nebraska) Daily Independent Tuesday, 24 December 1918 Obituary Clarence Lesley Hodgson was born June 4th, 1895, at St. Michael, Neb., and died December 16, 1918, at Grand Island, Neb., the cause of his death being appendicitis. He was 23 years, 6 months and 12 days old. In 1917 he was married to Miss Mary Ruyicka, of Cairo, Neb. To this union one child was born. Besides his wife and baby, he leaves to mourn his loss, his parents, one brother, two sisters, his aged grandparents and a number of other relatives. The funeral service was held at the home of his parents, west of Cairo, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and was conducted by Rev. Vincent R. Beebe, pastor of the First Methodist church in Grand Island. A large gathering of neighbors and friends was an indication of the high esteem in which the departed is held. A male quartet from Cairo furnished special music. Interment was made in the Cairo cemetery. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved ones.
