Description	:	Clarence N. Fry, 92, of Beaverton, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at MidMichigan Gladwin Pines. Clarence was born March 6, 1919, to the late William A. and Ida (Harmeier) Fry. He was first employed with Dow Chemical Company in Midland and later went to work for General Motors Buick Motor Division in Flint, Michigan, which is where he retired from, and was a member of U.A.W Local 599. He married the former Helen M. McKimmy on June 1, 1947, at Beaverton Church of the Brethren. She preceded him in death June 17, 2003, after 56 years of marriage.... Read More	Clarence N. Clarence enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards. He is survived by his two children, Neil C. (Karen) Fry of Saginaw and Ida May (Fry) Bates of Beaverton; five grandchildren, Michelle Fry, Sarah Dennis, Jennifer Fry, Neil David Fry and Rosemary Fry; nine great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Stella Brushaber of Beaverton and Carol Grice of Midland. He is predeceased by his parents; wife, Helen; five brothers, Elmer, Melven, Marvin, Louis and Ervin; three sisters, Irene Parker, Evelyn Smith and Geraldine Jeska. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 from 1-9 p.m. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Beaverton. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at 11 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Tobacco Twp. (Dale) Cemetery, Beaverton. In lieu of flowers, the family request consideration to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Cancer Society.
