Born Sept. 1, 1928, in Dry Run, Pa., he was the son of the late Clifford and Susan Edith Knable Householder. He was retired as a carpenter for Home Construction Inc., Hagerstown. He is survived by the following: his wife, Ruby Evangeline Jordan Householder; two sons, Richard Wayne Householder of Falling Waters, and Jack Jaye Householder of Williamsport; four sisters, Mable Reiff of Pinesburg, Md., Elizabeth Johnson and Nellie Beitler, both of Williamsport, and Helen Kepler of Middletown, Md.; four brothers, Newton Householder and Bill Householder, both of Marlowe, Paul Householder and Ned Householder, both of Williamsport; and one grandson. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Barbara Null, Myrtle Barkenfelt and Edith Hess; and two brothers, Arnold Householder and Leonard Householder. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Marlowe Assembly of God, Marlowe. The Rev. James Haskiell will officiate. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, Hedgesville, W.Va. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague Street, Williamsport. The funeral home will be open Tuesday after 9 a.m. for the convenience of family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to Marlowe Assembly of God, Marlowe, W.VA 25419.
