Mr. Finch died Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, at his home in Lincoln NE. Clarence Orrin Finch Jr. was born Jan. 23, 1939, the son of Clarence Sr. and Leona (Gehrke) Finch at Middlebranch NE. He graduated in 1957 from Creighton High School. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of rural Venus. On Sept 26 1959, Junior married Gloria (Jeanne) Dwinell of Brunswick at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Winnetoon. Junior and Jeanne made their home in the Page area where they milked cows and farmed for 35 years. During the last two years they lived on the farm, Junior worked for the Eley family at Reel Quick, Inc. In 1997, they sold their farm and moved to Lincoln where Junior continued to work for Reel Quick until his death. Junior left this world on Jan. 31, 2007, in his home in Lincoln, surrounded by his wife and children, after a hard-fought battle against cancer. Junior is survived by his wife, Jeanne; their children and spouses, Randy and Sally Finch of Royal, Jodi and Larry Wiese of Verdigre, Kay and Bill Williamson of Orchard, and Kris and Randy Robinson of Lamar, CO; 14 grandchildren: Marcus, Kaleb and Dillon Finch; Jeffrey, Cami and Taylor Kraft; Terry and Calvin Wiese; Ben, Whitney and MaKenzie Williamson; and Logan, Baylee and Christopher Robinson; three sisters: Beverly Gentzler of Tekamah, Phyllis Tyler of Creighton, and Karol and Art Sufficool of Crofton; one sister-in-law, Delores and Gerald Pearson of Columbus; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Junior was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, one nephew one great-niece, two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law. Junior was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, employee and friend. Throughout the years, he enjoyed raising and riding horses, participating in summer softball, men's pool tournaments and league bowling. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and snowmobiles. Junior will be so greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
