Description	:	Clarence Ray Speer, 82, of Winston-Salem, passed away on February 17, 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Speer was born on September 7, 1932 to the late Hubert Henry and Parry Wooten Speer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Henry Lewis Speer, an infant brother Rommie Speer, and five sisters Ruby Creed, Esteen Hoots, Lucy Pilcher, Betty Jane Marion and Christie Grindle. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 43 years, Ruby Speer of the home; a son Rickie Speer of Rural Hall ; three daughters Jackie (Roger) Bennett of Linwood, Vickie (Gary) Barts of High Point, Phyllis (Fred) Leiterman of Wisconsin; two step-sons Hubert (Doris) Price Jr. of Carolina Beach, NC and Terry (Terry) Price of Winston Salem ; a sister Vinalee Hege of King; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and four step grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Speer will be held at 2pm on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Huff Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Stony Knoll United Methodist Church Cemetery of East Bend.
