Read More	Published online courtesy of the Edson Funeral Home Ltd. on Saturday, March 14, 2015 BARRASS, Clarence Robert (Chub) Clarence Robert Barrass, (known to many as Chub) passed away in the Whitecourt Hospital on Friday, March 13th, 2015 at the age of 80 years. Chub was born on September 17th, 1934 at Shining Bank in a log house. He was born to Arthur and Ada Barrass. He attended the Shining Bank School. Chub worked at farming and in sawmills and had a great passion for baseball. He also had a great love for nature and had a soft heart toward animals and birds of any kind. Chub loved to read his Bible and talked often of the greatness of God and His creation. Chub felt urgent to make a change in his life and made a choice to serve God in March of 2014. He was predeceased by his father Arthur in 1971 and his mother Ada 1985, his brother Clayton in 1997, his sisters Della Roberts in 1987, Ellen Erickson in 2001 and Thelma Roberts in 2004. Funeral services took place on Wednesday, March 18th, at 1:00 P.M. at the Fulham Community Hall, Fulham, Alberta and interment followed in the Shining Bank Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, the family suggests donation be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, care of Alberta Cancer Foundation, 11560 University Ave., Edmonton, Alberta - T6G 1Z2 in memory of Clarence Robert (Chub) Barrass.
