Recently Left Centerville for the South Where He was a Train Dispatcher. Word was received at Centerville this morning from Mena, Ark., announcing the death of Clarence Gorman, son-in-law of Lloyd Hill. Pneumonia was the cause of death. He had been sick but a short time. Just before Thanksgiving Mr. Gorman's wife died. Two months ago Mr. Gorman went to Mena Ark. to take a position with a railroad company as a dispatcher.... His father, James Gorman, is a resident of Kokomo, and he left today for Arkansas to bring home the body of his son. The news of Mr. Gorman's death was a great shock to his friends at Centerville and elsewhere in the county. ********************************************************************************* THE EVENING ITEM in Richmond, Ind February 24, 1904 BODY WILL BE BNROUGHT HOME Remains of Clarence Gorman to Be Placed in Hill Family Vault at Centerville. The body of Clarence Gorman, who died at Mena, Ark., will arrive in Richmond tomorrow afternoon and be taken to Centerville. The body will be placed in the Hill family vault by the side of his wife, who died three months ago.
