Description	:	Clarence Taylor, 85, of Elm Creek died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at Haven Home in Kenesaw. Clarence was born March 5, 1926, in Kearney to Whitney and Mary (Jacobsen) Taylor. On May 21, 1950, he married Mary Lou Reiter in Lexington. Survivors are: wife, Mary Lou Taylor; sons, Randy Taylor and his special friend, Barb Richardson, Kenny Taylor and his wife, Heather, Gary Taylor and his wife, Carol, and Kyle Taylor and his wife, Joie, all of Elm Creek; daughter, Marlene Marshall and her husband, Lorry, of Elm Creek; grandchildren, Stephen and Jody Taylor, Heather Anthony and her husband, Tim, Sadie Hagemeier... Clarence received his education at District 15 School and was a 1945 graduate of Elm Creek High School. He and Mary Lou were married at First Presbyterian Church in Lexington. Clarence was a lifetime member of First Christian Church, long-time member of the Eagles Club and served on the Elm Creek School Board. Clarence was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Mildred Taylor; brothers-in-law, Lee Reiter and Virgil Selk; and nephew, Bill Breeden. Burial was in the Elm Creek Cemetery, Elm Creek, NE.
