Hankins, 80, formerly of 223 N. Marion, died May 1, 989, at Hillside Manor. She was born June 12, 1908, in Missouri to Travis and Mary McKittrick [sic] Meeker. She is survived by two grandchildren; and two brothers, Walter and Robert Meeker of Ottumwa. The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Johnson Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Grover Branson of First Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Visitation will begin at noon Thursday and the family will be present from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. The casket will be closed as the service begins.
