Description	:	Clarice Vinje, a daughter of Benhard and Carolina (Sivertson) Kavli, was born on February 25, 1909 at Bottineau. She was reared there and attended country school near Bottineau. In 1928, she married Theodore Vinje at Bottineau. Theodore open his first barber shop on Main Street and later moved the shop to Seventh Street right next to their home. With the faithful assistance of Clarice they barbered for 62 years. Clarice also spent several years working at the Good Samaritan Center and also St. Andrew's Health Center. She was reared there and attended country school near Bottineau. In 1928, she married Theodore Vinje at Bottineau. Theodore open his first barber shop on Main Street and later moved the shop to Seventh Street right next to their home. With the faithful assistance of Clarice they barbered for 62 years. Clarice also spent several years working at the Good Samaritan Center and also St. Andrew's Health Center. Ted passed away on February 14, 1989. Clarice was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bottineau. She loved the Lord, enjoyed Christian television and took a special interest in observing the Israel population returning to their promised land. She thoroughly enjoyed her 8 grandsons, her son-in-law, Howard and her daughter Marion. She was a very good cook and enjoyed entertaining and cooking healthy food for her family and guests. She had the privilege of touring Norway with her daughter and grandson. Clarice passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at a Bottineau hospital. She is survived by her daughter Marion Klingbeil of Bottineau; grandsons, Daniel Klingbeil (Andrea) of Minot, David Klingbeil (Jeanne) of Arizona, Mark Klingbeil (Jacalyn) of Bottineau, John Klingbeil of Minot, Paul Klingbeil (Cindy) of Minot, Peter Klingbeil (Leah) of Langdon, James Klingbeil (Deanna) of Bottineau and Mike Klingbeil (Stacie) of Omaha, NB; 23 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce and son-in-law, Howard. Arrangements were with Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.
