They moved to Kern County in 1998 from Tekamah Ne to be closer to their children. She was well known for her ceramic doll making classes that she conducted in Tekamah. Some of her many talents included oil painting, paper-mache sculpting and clothes for her dolls. She is survived by her husband, three daughters and a son. A memorial service was held Jan. 2, 2003 in Tehachapi and burial was in the Tekamah cemetery, Tekamah Neb. on Jan. 5, 2003. Wood Family Funeral Service handled the arrangements.
