The memorial for Clara J. Wilcox has info that is in error. This info apparently was given to you by lvgal. This lady was Clarissa Jane Emmerson Wilcox, the wife of Origen Abbe Wilcox. She did die on March 29, 1907, in Porterville, Tulare Co., Ca. and IS buried there at Porterville Cemetery according to the California Death Index for 1905 -1939. Clarissa is living with Origen in the 1900 Tulare County census, but is gone at the time of the 1910 census. Also, she is always listed as Clarissa, not Clara. Ancestry does try to give hints as to a Clara Hubbard for Clarissa so maybe this is the cause for some of the confusion. Thank you so much, I hope I haven't made things more confusing!
