Description	:	Clarissa Maria Wilbur, dau. of William Wilbur, Jr. and Betsey Fuller, b. May 30, 1830 at Waterville, VT. In the June 1900 census Clarissa, as the widow Lyman, was residing at Underhill, VT with the family of her nephew William H. Lee. She d. Jan. 11, 1912 while boarding with another and apparent unrelated family at Underhill, VT. She is assumed to have been interred at Jericho, VT in an unmarked grave near the known grave of Charles H. Lyman, her second husband. She had no children. Her recorded death record at the Town of Underhill incorrectly states she was married at her death. On Oct. 2, 1855 at Waterville, VT, Clarissa m. William Harrison Dean of Bakersfield, VT. Shortly after the marriage the couple moved to Atlantic County, NJ where Dean was alternately a farmer and bookkeeper. He d. at Hammonton, NJ Sept. 6, 1878. Upon returning to Vermont, possibly at the invitation of her younger brother Lafayette Wilbur of Jericho, VT, on Dec, 25, 1879 at Jericho Clarissa m. as his 2nd wife, Charles H. Lyman, s. of Daniel Lyman and Harriet Hawley, b. May 8, 1820 at Jericho, where he d. Sept. 4, 1889. Charles and his first wife, Eliza Ann Blackman, also had no children.
