Description	:	Clark Henry Hubbard - Age 53 Clark Henry Hubbard, the son of Wilber and Ioma Krueger Hubbard, was born on March 24, 1954 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Read More	Clark Henry Hubbard - Age 53 Clark Henry Hubbard, the son of Wilber and Ioma Krueger Hubbard, was born on March 24, 1954 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was baptized at the Neola Presbyterian Church and confirmed at the Peace United Church in Walnut. He attended school in Oakland and graduated from Oakland High School in 1972. He then attended Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs for two years. While growing up his dream was to be a high school history teacher. After college Clark entered into the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Lee Stewart from Boxborough, Massachusetts. While in the military he was a teacher for the Intelligence Branch. He served two, three year tours in Germany, including three months in Berlin; a tour in Turkey and a one year tour in Korea. After serving twenty-two and a half years in the military, Clark retired from Fort Huachucka in Arizona. After his retirement he went to work as a computer operator for the Tropicana in Las Vegas. He also went back to college at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas and earned his bachelors degree to be a high school teacher but because of his illness he never had the chance to teach a class. He enjoyed sports, collected sports cards and loved his pets. Clark died on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at in Las Vegas, Nevada having attained the age of fifty-three years, eight months and twenty-five days. He is preceded in death by his brother, Mark Hubbard; his grandparents: Henry and Christine Krueger and Wilber and Vera Hubbard. Survivors include his wife Lee of Las Vegas, Nevada; his parents Wilber and Ioma Hubbard of Walnut, Iowa; brothers: Neal and his wife, Charlotte, of Jefferson City, Missouri and Alan Hubbard and his wife, Lisa, of Waterloo, Iowa; sister-in-law, Paula Hubbard of Greensburg, Indiana; one nephew, Kirk Hubbard; two nieces: Shawna and Anna Hubbard; other relatives and many friends. Memorial services were held on Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the Peace United Church of Christ in Walnut, Iowa with Pastor Gail Muckey officiating. Military graveside services followed at Layton Township Cemetery. Pauley Jones Funeral Home was in charge of the local arrangements. [Pauley Jones Funeral Homes]
