He was working at the pit that afternoon with Harry Stewart of Milford. They were discussing the accident when Mr. Albro dropped forward, dead. The coronor pronounced death due to heart disease. Mr. Albro's family recalled that he had been complaining of a pain in his chest for several months and had rested and spoken of the pain between the time of the Kizer accident and his return to his work. His last remark to a daughter, Mrs. Harvey Swenson was that he would approve closing of the Allen crossing because of it's dangerous location. An unusual circumstances of Mr. Albro's death was that his wife had left only Sunday night for Chicage to be at the bedside of their granddaughter, Betty Albro. Mr. Albro had accompanied her to Spencer to the train at 7 p.m. Before departing, Mrs. Albro requested Mrs. Swenson to live at the Albro home during her absence, and to "look after dad". The Albro family came here from Lawrence, Kansas about 25 years ago and Mr. Albro was widely known. He worked for many years on the state seining crew as policemen, and at the disposal plant. Surviving are Mrs. Albro and four children: William of Chicago: George of Omaha: and Mrs. Swenson and Mrs. Harry Wilson of Arnolds Park: six grand-children: one sister, Mrs. Hardy Beezley of Ralston, Okla., and an uncle John Albro of Lawrence, Kansas. There are also nieces and nephews who survive. Funeral services for Mr. Kizer will be held at the Friends church in Arnolds Park at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Funeral services for Mr. Albro will be set as soon as possible after Mrs. Albro arrives from Chicago, probably for Friday afternoon. *Obituary from the Milford Mail 12-22-1938 ---------
