Description	:	Claude Lester Hickey was born to Vivian and Viola (Briggs) Hickey on March 19, 1929 near Iona, SD. He attended rural schools near Iona and went to Iona High School for three years. On August 28, 1950, Claude married Ilene Konop in Pierre, SD. Claude worked for area farmers and was a truck driver. He was drafted to the US Marine Corp in 1951. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ilene (Konop) Hickey of Burke, SD; and 3 daughters, 1 sister, Evelyn Rezac of Gregory, SD, a brother Ralph, and many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents; son Marvin; brother Kenneth; and infant brother Vivian Scott. Funeral services were held Monday, May 6, 2013 at the Berean Church in Gregory, SD
