Read More	Obituary for Claude Morrow Mitchell Jr. Claude Morrow “Buddy” Mitchell, Jr., 79, of Fort Mill, SC, died Friday, October 24, 2014 at Pruitt Health Care of Rock Hill, SC. Born in Union SC, Mr. Mitchell was the son of the late Claude M Mitchell Sr. and Myra Edens Mitchell. During the Korean Conflict, Mr. Mitchell served in the United States Army being based at Fort Lewis in the state of Washington. He was retired from Cato Corporation where he was employed as a manager and a buyer of apparel and shoes for the WACO Dept. Stores in SC. He loved to work, even after retiring he developed “R and C Enterprises” and became known as “The Spice Man” in the Fort Mill area. Mr. Mitchell was a member of the Kiwanis Club in Washington and a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the Elks Lodge in Union SC. Surviving are his wife, Rachel Lee LeMaster Mitchell; his son, Claude M Mitchell III and his wife Jutta Riesterer Mitchell of Matthews, NC; his daughter, Krystine Mitchell Hughes and her husband, Brian N Hughes of Broomfield CO; and his cousins, Robert Edens and Mary Del Eubanks. He was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Allen. Honoring Mr. Mitchell’s wishes, cremation took place at Wolfe Funeral Home and a memorial service will be held at Grace United Methodist on Sunday, November 30th at 3:00 p.m. Courtesy Of Wolfe Funeral Home
