Description	:	Clayton Lloyd Duncan Sr. passed away at 2:15 P.M. on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the Waterford Place Health Campus, surrounded by his family. He was born on January 27, 1922 in Alexandria, IN to the late Effie and Florence (Linskey) Duncan. Clayton graduated from Alexandria High School, then on August 3, 1946, he married Eileen Price in Kokomo, and she survives. Clayton served in the 125th Armored Engineer Battalion in WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart. He ran the Howard County Conservation Trap Shoot in the late 60′s and was elected Howard County Councilman in the early 70′s.... He was born on January 27, 1922 in Alexandria, IN to the late Effie and Florence (Linskey) Duncan. Clayton graduated from Alexandria High School, then on August 3, 1946, he married Eileen Price in Kokomo, and she survives. Clayton served in the 125th Armored Engineer Battalion in WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart. He ran the Howard County Conservation Trap Shoot in the late 60′s and was elected Howard County Councilman in the early 70′s. On January 1, 1977, he retired from Delco with 30 years of service as a Tool and Die maker. His hobbies included designing and building go-carts, boats, car restoration, making fishing lures, and raising roller pigeons. He also loved to fish, hunt and trap shoot. Clayton is survived by his wife, Eileen Duncan; three sons, Clayton Duncan Jr., Dave (Cheryl) Duncan and Kim Duncan with special friend, Colleen Yeoman; along with six grandchildren, Clayton (Alison) Duncan, Jason (Keri) Enyart, Kristin Small, Lori (Rick) Stiner, Staci (Jason) Eller and Jennifer (Steve) Trent. Other survivors include great grandchildren, Devin Duncan, Caleb Duncan, Tate Stiner, Gaby Trent, Delaney Duncan, Saige Stiner, Jessica Small, MacKenzi Eller, Eli Enyart, Jaxson Stiner, Coleton Enyart and Caden Eller; along with sisters-in-law, Ruthanne Duncan, Lottie Price and Sue Price, and several nieces and nephews. Clayton was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Herbert Duncan, Boyd Duncan and Jack Duncan; his sister, Lucille; and three brothers-in-law, Gail Price, Bill Price and Norm Price. There will be a funeral service for Clayton at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 South Webster St. Kokomo, on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Ralf Coulter officiating. At the conclusion of the funeral, we will be taking Clayton to Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery where he will be laid to rest with military rites provided by the Kokomo VFW and U.S. Army Military Rites Teams. Clayton's friends and family are welcome to join for a time of visitation on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., also at the mortuary. Contributions can be made in Clayton's memory to Urban Outreach Ministries, with envelopes available at the mortuary.
