An 80-year-old Charleston resident, who was a former city councilman and one time employee of the Daily Mail, died last night in a Charleston hospital. Cleburn B. An 80-year-old Charleston resident, who was a former city councilman and one time employee of the Daily Mail, died last night in a Charleston hospital. Cleburn B. Horn, of 1428 Seventh Ave., died after a long illness. Mr. Horn was employed for several years in the city collector's office under former Mayor D. Boone Dawson. He is also a member of the Charleston police department from 1917 to 1919. It was after this that he joined the Daily Mail circulation department. He was born in Jackson County, January 25, 1876 and was a member of the Mountain Mission. Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Docha Pfost, and the Misses Flossie and Betty Horn, all of Charleston, Mrs. Ernie Tackett of Ripley, Mrs. Macell Shea of Evansville, Ind., Mrs. Letha Olson of Ocean City, Calif, and Mrs. Amy Meadows of Charleston; two sons, Capt. Ottmer Horn of the Charleston Fire Department and Elton of Charleston; 32 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be tomorrow at 2 p. m. in the Mountain Mission, the Rev. Hobson D. Fisher and the Rev. Charles Scragg officiating. Burial will be in Horn Cemetery, near Sissonville.
