Cleo was born November 23, 1905 in Urbana to Eli and Lucinda (Brody) Culver. On October 19, 1924 she was united in marriage to Frank Burgess. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed crocheting and crafts, making mittens for children at school and her grandchildren. She enjoyed having company and playing cards. She will be missed by all of her family and friends. She was the oldest living member of the Brody clan. She is survived by her children, Rosetta Meister of Cedar Rapids, Danny (Vickie) Burgess, Steve Burgess and Jean Noggle, all of Vinton; 17 grandchildren, a large number of great and great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Frank; her daughter Vivian Mae Musil; 5 grandsons; 1 granddaughter; 2 great granddaughters; 1 great grandson; 4 brothers; 4 sisters and many nieces and nephews.
