Description	:	"Naches -- Cleo C. Brown, 80, of Naches, died Wednesday, March 3, 1993 at his home. He was born June 29, 1912 in Cleveland County, Oklahoma to Columbus Colman and Caroline (Wilson) Brown. Mr. Brown was raised and educated in Washington, Oklahoma. He came to the Yakima area in 1937 and worked as a logger and sawyer for Ira Pease in the Wenas area for several years. Brown, 80, of Naches, died Wednesday, March 3, 1993 at his home. He was born June 29, 1912 in Cleveland County, Oklahoma to Columbus Colman and Caroline (Wilson) Brown. Mr. Brown was raised and educated in Washington, Oklahoma. He came to the Yakima area in 1937 and worked as a logger and sawyer for Ira Pease in the Wenas area for several years. Mr. Brown was also an orchardist and had raised apples in the Tieton-Cowiche area and in the Naches Valley. He was a member of the Naches Church of the Nazarene and the Naches Grange #335. Mr. Brown enjoyed hunting, storytelling, mushroom hunting, and gardening as hobbies. Survivors include his wife, LaVern Brown of Naches, eight children, a sister, 32 grand-children, and 45 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Wilma Williams, a son, John Brown, and two brothers. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 8th, at 1:00 p.m. in the Keith & Keith 9th Avenue Chapel. Interment will be in the Naches Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Naches Church of the Nazarene, the American Heart Association, or the Union Gospel Mission."
