Bonnie was born Feb. 6, 1926 at Marysville, Ks. the daughter of James and Gladys Mitchell Bothwell. Bonnie married Dale A. Mayhew on April 4, 1942, at Home City, Ks. He preceded her in death. She resided in Oketo, Marietta, Marysville, Louisville, Ky., Abilene, Ks. and Nebraska City, Neb. Bonnie was born Feb. 6, 1926 at Marysville, Ks. the daughter of James and Gladys Mitchell Bothwell. Bonnie married Dale A. Mayhew on April 4, 1942, at Home City, Ks. He preceded her in death. She resided in Oketo, Marietta, Marysville, Louisville, Ky., Abilene, Ks. and Nebraska City, Neb. She worked at Marysville Community Memorial Hosptial, United Dairy, Marysville Telephone and was owner of Bonnie's Florist. She was a member of the Legion Auxillary for almost 30 years. She was on the School Boad for Bommer School and on the Deer Creek Cemetery Board. Bonnie enjoyed oil painting and working with flowers, loved to read, embroidering tea towels and collecting over 2000 dolls. Survivors are sons, Jim (Pattie) Mayhew of Abilene, KS; Tanner (Leah) Mayhew of St. Joseph, MO.; daughter, Sheri (Roger) Dowding, Nebraska City, NE; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and 6 step-grandchildren; and 8 step-great grandchildren. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Jason Tanner Mayhew and daughter-in-law, Bobbie Jo Mayhew. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday Oct. 23, 2012 at the United Methodist Church, Marysville, Kansas. Burial will be in the Marysville Cemetery
