Born on April 26, 1926 in Lexington, KY he was the son of the late Vernis & Stella (McKinney) Newton. Cleven retired in 1988 at Dasher Steel Foundry in Hamilton, OH. He served on the Somerville Fire Department for many years and was a member of the Somerville First Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his wife: Angeline R. Pierce, FL; Rita Anderson of Camden, OH and Debbie & Phillip Morris of Arkansas; Brother: Chester Newton of Somerville, OH and Sister: Mafrey Gault of Flordia; Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Nein-Barnes Funeral Home 249 North Main Street Camden, OH with Rev. Richard Huff officiating.
