Read More	Holyoke Enterprise, Holyoke, Colorado, 15 Mar 1984 SERVICES HELD FOR CLIFFORD MURRAY Clifford Milo Murray, the eldest of eight children, was born near Friend on March 3, 1899 to Frank and Emma Murray. He departed from this life on March 3, 1984 at the Chase County Hospital in Imperial, Nebraska at the age of 85. He spent his boyhood days on his parents farm near Maywood, Nebraska and later at Curtis, Nebraska. He attended Highline country school near his home, then auctioneering school in Lincoln, Nebraska. On November 17, 1920 he married Carolyn Burns in Venango, Nebraska and to this union 10 children were born. They spent their early marital life in northeastern Colorado and western Nebraska. In 1952 they purchased a farm northwest of Imperial, moving to town in 1965. This marriage spanned many happy years and on November 30, 1980 Carolyn and Clifford celebrated their 60th anniversary at the Imperial Manor. Clifford was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carolyn on March 19, 1981; two sons; Wayne Leroy, who became listed as missing in action at Orbetello, Italy on April 29, 1944 and Deane Leon who passed away January 29, 1966 and one brother. He is survived by three sons, Donald and his wife Alice of Potter, Nebraska; Melvin and his wife Ida of Amherst; and Elmer of Denver; five daughters, Dorothy Marquardt and her husband Herbert of Julesburg; Wilma Griess and her husband Dale of Ft. Morgan; Cora May Harmon and her husband Alvin of Imperial, Nebraska; Glenda Bradley and her husband Donald of McCook, Nebraska; Ardell Ulrich and her husband Bernard of Columbus, Nebraska; and a daughter-in-law Audrey Murray of Amherst; three sisters, Bernice Thayer of Curtis, Nebraska, Rowene Reichman of Oshkosh, Nebraska and Mildred McDougall of Omaha, Nebraska; three brothers, Daryl Murray of Westminster, Ray Murray of Sun City West, Arizona and Norman Murray of Turlock, California; 20 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Services were held March 6, 1984 at the First United Methodist Church in Imperial with Rev. Bob Call officiating. Music was provided by Mrs. Willard Rouze, organize and Harvey McCune, soloist. The escorts were his grandsons. Interment was at Memorial Park Cemetery at Holyoke with Creveling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
