Read More	LEMARS GLOBE POST, LeMars, Iowa, Thursday, July 31, 1958, Page 17: Cliff Noble Clifford Wesley Noble, 46, who lived his entire life in Plymouth county, passed away at the Lutheran hospital in Sioux City on July 28, 1958 after a sickness which lasted about 15 months. He farmed in Section 2, Preston township route 1, Ireton. Mr. Noble was a Plymouth county supervisor until his resignation about six weeks ago. He had served that capacity for five years and resigned because of failing health. He had been hospitalized for three months. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran church at Craig and was active in all farm organizations, including the Plymouth county fair. He was past president of the Plymouth co-op oil company in Le Mars. Mr. Noble was born on February 28, 1932 in Plymouth county. His parents were Orpha Millard and Albert P. Noble. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 31 at St. John's American Lutheran church in Craig. Burial will be in the Craig Lutheran cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home, Rev. Donald Schmidt officiated. Survivors include his wife, Helen; four sons, Wesley Noble of rural route, Ireton; Stanley, Richard and Gary all at home and one granddaughter. Five sisters and four brothers, Mrs. Nellie Norris, Hale, Missouri; Mrs. Mable Port, Akron; Mrs. Myrtle Van Steenwyk, Clear Lake, South Dakota; Mrs. Lela McCabe, Sioux Falls; Mrs. Irene Squires, Minneapolis; Charles Noble, Dolliver, Iowa; Hollis, George and Dale all of Hawarden. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
