PERRYVILLE Newspaper clipping CLINE D. MILSTER DEAD. On last Tuesday afternoon, December 5, 1911, Cline Daniel Milster died at his home in Perryville. He was stricken with paralysis on November 20th, and at first he seemed to rally, but soon began to grow weaker until death resulted on the above date. Mr. Milster was born on November 25, 1843, near Brazeau and was one of the most successful farmers of the county, and accumulated a large land holding. About 47 years ago he was married to Mrs. Isabella Fenwick and to them were born five children, but only two, John and Dora (wife of Emmett Layton of St. Louis) survive him, together with his aged widow. He is also survived by a brother, Rev. Dr. Milster, and a sister, Mrs. Jos. Patterson. A few years ago Mr. Milster retired from active farm work and moved to Perryville with his wife, where they have since resided. The funeral services of the deceased will be held at 7:30 this, Thursday morning at the St. Boniface church, and the remains will be taken to the Brazeau cemetery and laid to rest at 12:30 p.m. CLINE DANIEL MILSTER Another of Perry County's aged and respected citizens, died at his home in this city on Tuesday, December 5, 1911, at 3:40 p.m. after an illness of about two weeks due to a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Milster was born and reared in Perry County and spent his entire life in this his native County. He was a son of Washington Milster, deceased, and is survived by only one brother, Dr. Milster, and one sister, Mrs. Salina Patterson. He was 68 years old November 25th, 1911. Mr. Milster was united in marriage with Mrs. Isabella Fenwick about 22 years ago. To this union were born 5 children, two of whom are living. They are: Mrs. Dora Layton, of St. Louis, and John Milster of near Wittenberg, both of whom were at the bedside of their father during the illness, administering to his wants, and at the time of his death. One step-son, Joseph F. Fenwick, of this city, who too was at the bedside during the illness and at the time he died. His step-daughter, Mrs. Dryden of St. Louis arrived yesterday to attend the funeral. By hard work and good management Mr. Milster had accumulated quite a comfortable fortune, and for the past six or seven years he and his wife have lived in this city taking life easy. During his illness he signified a willingness to receive the sacrament of baptism, and Father O'Connor administered the baptism, thus preparing him to meet his Creator. He is survived by an aged widow, son, daughter, step-son, step-daughter and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the St. Boniface Catholic church of this city this morning at 7:30 and the interment takes place to-day at 12:30 in the Brazeau cemetery, at Brazeau, Mo., where the rest of his folks are buried. May his soul rest in peace.
