Description	:	Ottumwa Courier July 21, 1937 Rites For Mrs. Dings Wednesday Funeral services for Mrs. Clenna Dings, 57, who died at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester Minnesota, Monday will be held at 2 PM Wednesday in the Lester Jay funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Earl Daniels. Burial will be made the Ottumwa cemetery. Mrs. Dings lived at 312 W. 4th St. Mrs. Dings was the daughter of Henry and Sarah Cashman and was born in Knox County, Illinois. September 30, 1879. She was married in 1903 to Trellis R. Kemper, who died in 1919. The Kempers had a daughter, Ruth Eloise. Mrs. Kemper was married to J. Fred Dings in 1921. Mrs. Dings was a member the First Christian church and of the O. E. S. No. 112. Surviving are her husband, J. Fred Dings; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Valentine of Ottumwa; and one sister, Mrs. C. S. Dalrymple of Long Beach, California. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Sarah Thompson, in 1909, and one brother, Kenneth. The body will remain at Jay funeral home until time for the services. Pallbearers will be Arthur Potter, S. M. Clark, George W. Davidson, Reed L. Blankenship, J. B. Mirgon and Walter C. Minnick.
