A funeral service will be held at 12:00 on Tuesday July 16, 2019 at Law-Jones Funeral Home, Preston. Burial rites will be in the Preston Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00-12:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. Clint was born June 26, 1958, in Maquoketa, Iowa, the son of Walter and Gloria (Clark) Lingle. He graduated from Preston High School, class of 1976. After high school, Clint studied music and computers. He then moved to Chicago and found work in the financial district. He worked several years at Mesiro Financial as a Cashiers Manager, then later worked at the Shamrock Club in Chicago. He loved to cook and socialize with friends and family. In his younger years, Clint enjoyed playing music and was skilled at many different instruments including the accordion, piano, clarinet, French horn, and guitar. Clint will be dearly missed by his two brothers, Alan Lingle and Larry (Joan) Lingle; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Gasper; one niece; three nephews and great- nieces and nephews.
