Description	:	Cloyde Orean Fitch was the first born son of Albert Milton Fitch (1886-1946) and Madge Carlyle Sheridan Fitch (1891-1984). Albert & Madge had 9 children together (7 boys and 2 girls). Cloyde was married to Thelma Estie Stockstill in 1932 and they had two children together, Richard Arnold & Greta Sue. His second marriage was to Eleanor Lenore McNeilly in 1938. At the time of their marriage, Eleanor had a daughter (Nancy) whom he adopted, and they subsequently had four children together (Cathy, Chuck, Janet & Rodney. According to personal accounts from... At the time of their marriage, Eleanor had a daughter (Nancy) whom he adopted, and they subsequently had four children together (Cathy, Chuck, Janet & Rodney. According to personal accounts from Cloyde's mother (Madge Carlyle Fitch), Cloyde's tragic and untimely death was the direct result of a robbery that occured late one night, outside a restaurant. He was surprised by an unknown assailant and suffered a blow to his head as he sat inside his running vehicle preparing to leave the establishment. It is beleived that Cloyde was knocked unconscious by some sort of blunt instrument and that he then fell into the seat or the assailant pushed him over (inside the vehicle) to steal Cloyde's wallet. Cloyde was found dead later that night in his vehicle, the likely cause of death being carbon monoxide poisoning as his head lay unconscious near the gear shift. The murderer was never apprehended. Again, this account was taken from memories of his mother, Madge Carlyle Fitch, as well as additional notes made by her in the margin of the "Bulla Family History".
