Satin St., Jefferson, died early Wednesday morning, Feb. 16, 2011, at the Jefferson Healthcare Center following complications from hip surgery. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Louis and Carrie Leibrock and had lived most all of his life in the Jefferson area. Leibrock, of W. Satin St., Jefferson, died early Wednesday morning, Feb. 16, 2011, at the Jefferson Healthcare Center following complications from hip surgery. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Louis and Carrie Leibrock and had lived most all of his life in the Jefferson area. During World War II, he was a medic in the U.S. Army, serving in the European Theatre and at the Battle of the Bulge. Mr. Leibrock was currently employed with Nassief Honda and had been with the Nassief family dealerships since their inception. He began his career with their predecessor, Frank Childs Pontiac-Cadillac in 1949. He was the original voice of the Jefferson Falcons from 1948-1971, he was the announcer for the G.C. Meade Baseball Team for several years, starting in 1946, he volunteered and did much of the labor in building Memorial Field and was an avid Yankee and Buckeye fan. Clyde was a horse racing fan and enjoyed animals, yard work, nature and being outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Norma L. (White) Leibrock, whom he married on Sept. 21, 1950, in Maysville, Ky.; and a daughter, Sandy G. Leibrock of Portland, Ore. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Louis Leibrock. Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 22nd, at the Jefferson Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with the Rev. Jim Brehler, of First Congregational United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until time of Service, Tuesday, at the Funeral Home.
