Description	:	Clyde Eugene Davison, the elder of their sons, was born to Willis Newton Davison and Luna Lucinda Case at Eagle Point, Illinois 17 June 1872 and died at Polo, Ill. At the age of two years, he moved to Hampton, Iowa at which place or in its immediate vicinity, he resided until he came to Polo, Jan 1, 1918 to be near his parents in their declining years, but whom he has preceded into the Blessed Land. Read More	Clyde Eugene Davison, the elder of their sons, was born to Willis Newton Davison and Luna Lucinda Case at Eagle Point, Illinois 17 June 1872 and died at Polo, Ill. Thursday 19 Aug 1920, aged 48 years, 2 months and 2 days. At the age of two years, he moved to Hampton, Iowa at which place or in its immediate vicinity, he resided until he came to Polo, Jan 1, 1918 to be near his parents in their declining years, but whom he has preceded into the Blessed Land. At the age of 18, he and his parents united with the Congregational Church. After completing the common school course, he took a business course at Davenport, Iowa. On Oct 26, 1893, he was united in marriage to Margaret N. Van Nest who survives him as do the nine children born to this union; Mrs. Verabeth R. Roderick, Lone Rock, Iowa; Mrs. Marguerite E. Wirth, Marshalltown, Iowa; Mrs. Gladys Gransfelt (sic - Dransfelt), Burt, Iowa; Willis N., Charlotte E., Joseph C., Ruberta B., Robert L. and Georgia Van Nest, all of Polo, Ill. Funeral services were held at the late home in Polo conducted by Rev. Sylvester Sanford. At six o'clock Sunday evening following a funeral prayer by Rev. Cates of the M.E. Church, the funeral party left for Dixon where it took the train to Hampton, Iowa where the interment was made the following day.
