Description	:	SP4 US ARMY VIETNAM CHINA GROVE - Clyde Evans, Jr., 61, of China Grove, passed away Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at his son's residence in Salisbury. Born Dec. 18, 1947, in Rowan County, he was the son of the late Alice Lowder Evans and Clyde Evans, Sr. Educated in Rowan County schools, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam as a medic. Mr. Evans was self-employed in the construction industry. More recently, he was employed by W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center in the maintenance department.
