Description	:	Clyde Ray Smith, age 83, a faithful member of Oliver Springs United Methodist Church, passed at his home in Oliver Springs. Clyde served on the Anderson County Commission in the 1960s. He worked at K-25 and X-10 for a total of 31 years. After retiring from Oak Ridge in 1974, he became a full time grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed his large yard and garden, but more than anything, he loved his family. His home was full of pictures of family and he loved to share his pictures with others. Read More	Clyde Ray Smith, age 83, a faithful member of Oliver Springs United Methodist Church, passed at his home in Oliver Springs. Clyde served on the Anderson County Commission in the 1960s. Clyde was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Rethal Stooksbury Smith; parents, Albert and Carrie Smith; brothers, Howard Smith, Boyd Smith and J. Allen Smith; and sisters, Beulah Sisson and Mabel Wilson. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Cathy Smith of Oliver Springs, and Doug and Sheila Smith of Oliver Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Jerry Holbrook of Clinton; grandchildren, Robbie Holbrook, Todd Holbrook, Jimmy Smith Jr., Wendy Smith, Brad Smith, Allison Smith, Stephanie Holbrook, Jeannine Holbrook, Ann Smith, and Melissa Smith; great-grandchildren, Morgan Holbrook, Colby Holbrook, Jacob Holbrook, Dana Smith, Megan Smith and Heath Smith; brother, Charles Smith and wife, Joan of Oliver Springs; sister-in-law, Laura Smith of Naples, Fla.; and many nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.
