Description	:	Mrs. Carl Mohr, 77, of Early, died at her home Friday afternoon, January 6. Mass of the Resurrection was held Monday, January 9 at 10:30 A.M. in the Sacred Heart Church, Early, with Msgr. John Doherty officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery under the arrangements of the Farber-Otteman Funeral Home. Parish rosary was held at the Farber-Otteman Funeral Home, Storm Lake, Saturday at 8 P.M. and Sunday at 8 P.M. Collette Mohr was born April 28, 1900 in Breda, the daughter of Joseph and Francis Reidmiller. She was united in marriage to Carl Mohr, August 16, 1922. They farmed southwest of Early and in 1924 purchased a farm north of Early where they farmed until 1968 when they purchased a home and moved to Early. Mr. Mohr died in 1969. Mrs. Mohr was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, Sacred Heart Guild, Catholic Daughters of America, the Poetry and Literature Department of the Early Woman's Club and several bridge clubs. She is survived by two sons, Kenneth and John of Early; three daughters, Lois, Mrs. Vincent Katch of Des Moines, Elayne, Mrs. Vern Reiman of Sac City, Mary Margaret, Mrs. Duane Wachter of Hinton, 19 grandchildren; one brother, Leonard Reidmiller of Cincinnati, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Wenzel, Wall Lake; Miss Margaret Reidmiller of Ogden, and Mrs. Marion Rose of Hartley. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Tim and Martin Mohr, Jim Reiman, Kurt, Kent and Kelly Katch. Honorary pallbearers were Henry Smith, Joe Sohm, Bill Jenkins, Harry Schuelke, Albert Gard and Robert Mason. (Odebolt Chronicle, January 12, 1978, p. 14.)
