She was born in Ontario in 1849 and moved with her parents to Ill., in 1855, and to Minn., in 1866. In 1867 she was married to John W. Moore, who survives her with their two interesting children. She was born in Ontario in 1849 and moved with her parents to Ill., in 1855, and to Minn., in 1866. In 1867 she was married to John W. Moore, who survives her with their two interesting children. In the death of Mrs. Moore the Methodist Episcopal church in Osakis has lost an exemplary member. The Ladies' Aid Society was organized at her home. In all of its deliberations her counsels were desired and sought. She was a member of the choir and the voice of one sweet singer, though silent on earth is attuned to a nobler strains in the Angelic Band. Her love for the Sabbath school amounted to almost pure devotion. The loss of one so intimately connected with all departments of church work, has cast a gloom over the society, yet we mourn not as those without hope. Mrs. Moore was a respected member of society. Those who knew her best loved her most. She was a faithful, tender, and devoted wife, and mother; an affectionate and loving sister, and daughter. A large congregation attended the memorial service at the Methodist Episcopal Church Sunday, May 27th of Mrs. Glover and Mrs. Moore. During the interesting service many tears of sympathy were shed for mourning friends and for the departed.
