Mrs. Leis, the former Colletta Weber, was born May 30, 1907, at Waterbury, Neb., where she attended public school. She was married to Frank J. Meis, May 5, 1938 at Willis, Neb. The couple farmed in the Waterbury area until 1963 when they moved to South Sioux City. Mr. Leis died Feb. 10, 1965 in Sioux City. Mrs. Leis, the former Colletta Weber, was born May 30, 1907, at Waterbury, Neb., where she attended public school. She was married to Frank J. Meis, May 5, 1938 at Willis, Neb. The couple farmed in the Waterbury area until 1963 when they moved to South Sioux City. Mr. Leis died Feb. 10, 1965 in Sioux City. A member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in South Sioux City, Mrs. Leis also was a member of the church Altar Society. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Bob (Kathryn) Borrall of Sioux City and Miss Veronica Leis of South Sioux City; three sisters, Mrs. Jimmy Marron and Mrs. Charles Geary, both of South Sioux and Mrs. Howard Rasmussen of Hubbard, Neb., and three grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael's Church in South Sioux. The Rev. James E. Fitzgerald will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of the Bob Becker Home for Funerals in South Sioux. Pallbearers will be Franklin R. Brown, Delbert Watkins, Bill Sachau, Frank Stansberry, Melvin Navrkal and Judd Luschke. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
