Connie was born November 25, 1946 in Bismarck, ND, the daughter of Arnold and Pauline (Haid) Johnson. She attended country school near Kintyre and graduated from the Napoleon High School in 1964. She also attended Valley City State Teacher's College. In 1964, Connie went to work at First National Bank, Linton, ND. She served in all capacities of the bank. Bossert, 59, Linton, ND, died August 26, 2006 at Medcenter One in Bismarck, ND. Connie was born November 25, 1946 in Bismarck, ND, the daughter of Arnold and Pauline (Haid) Johnson. She attended country school near Kintyre and graduated from the Napoleon High School in 1964. She also attended Valley City State Teacher's College. In 1964, Connie went to work at First National Bank, Linton, ND. She served in all capacities of the bank. The bank later changed its name to BNC Bank where she currently was President. This fall would have marked 42 years with the Linton Bank. She was very dedicated to her customers and to the positions she held within the bank. She married Terry D. Bossert on April 2, 1966 at Evangelical United Brethren Church in Linton. Terry and Connie were very devoted to one another and to their children. They were very proud of their children and their accomplishments. Together they enjoyed spending time at their family cabin at the river and spending time outdoors. Connie was a very active member in various community organizations and activities. She served on the Linton School Board as President, Linton Chamber and Linton Industrial Development Corporation. She enjoyed reading, floral gardening, music, dancing, remodeling, decorating and shopping. Connie's greatest enjoyment in life were her family and attending their activities. Connie will always be remembered for being very loving and caring; always willing to put others first. Connie is survived by her mother: Pauline Johnson of Bismarck; one son: Kelly Bossert and his fiancé, Amber Erickson of Cleveland, MN; one daughter and son-in-law: Kim and Jamie Brecht of Bismarck; one sister and brother-in-law: Delaine and John Kambeitz of Bismarck; mother-in-law: Edna Bossert of Linton; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Tonita and Gene Wolfer of Linton; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Teddy and Deb Bossert of Linton and Ty and Becky Bossert of Sebring, FL; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Connie was preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, her husband in 2001 and one infant son. Burial will be in the Linton Cemetery. Arrangements by Myers Funeral Home.
